Merino Prefelt Lightning

100% beautiful merino wool lightly needle felted into prefelt. Great as a base in wet or needle felted projects. Prefelt can be cut into distinctive shapes for felt inlays and overlays. Prefelt is perfect for making scarves and shawls.

What is prefelt? Unlike traditional felt, preliminary felt or prefelt as we call it is only lightly felted in a machine process. This allows it to be used with other prefelt or feltable fibers to create variety of projects.

• Full Sheet - 40"x40" (approximate)
• 1/2 Sheet - 40"x20" (approximate)
• 1/4 Sheet - 20"x20" (approximate)
• 1/8 Sheet - 20"x10" (approximate)
• 1/16 Sheet - 10"x10" (approximate)

 Specs:

• Fiber: 100% merino
• Weight: 150 grams per meter (approximate)
• Thickness: 2-3 mm
• Colors may vary slightly due to the nature of the fiber and your monitor. Every effort has been made to represent the colors as accurately as possible.
• Prefelt dyed in conformance with Oeko-Tex 100 quality system
